I work for EDF’s Innovation division. EDF is historically the French utility and now one of the leaders in the European energy market. Based in the Bay Area, I help local startups that stand out establish partnerships with EDF’s business units to accelerate the adoption of new energy innovations within the Group. EDF being so large – with presence in many countries & in the whole supply chain, from energy generation, transmission, distribution, down to retail – the playground is almost infinite!
I came to the energy industry by way of ICT. I’m the former global practice head for sustainable development & green IT consulting at Orange Business Services, where I promoted the use of Information and Communication Technologies in climate action planning for large multinationals.
I am passionate about bringing higher awareness of critical sustainability issues as interconnected to the needs and responsibilities of businesses & I believe utilities are at the crossroad of any sustainable energy system for the future. Looking at innovation for EDF is an unmatched watchpoint to detect which ideas may have the potential to make 2050 a happy year indeed!
